Introducing école Michaël
The École Michaël opened its doors in Strasbourg in 1946. Backed by nearly 80 years of pedagogical experience, this non-profit school today welcomes around 200 pupils, from CP to 3ᵉ, supervised by a committed team of 40 teachers and supported by parents who are fully involved in their children's schooling.
Its teaching is based on a harmonious balance between intellectual, artistic and manual activities, favoring the child's overall development:
- General subjects: taught in a lively, age-appropriate way.
- Artistic activities: orchestras, painting, drawing, singing, to awaken creativity.
- Handicrafts: gardening, sewing, woodworking, which contribute to balance and body training.
A vital need for support
Like all non-contract schools, École Michaël receives no public subsidies. It therefore relies essentially on contributions from families and the support of its partners.
Since its creation, the school has opted for a solidarity-based fee system, calculated according to family income, in order to remain accessible to all - a strong commitment, but one that naturally accentuates its financial fragility.
In order to preserve the continuity of its educational project and open up new perspectives, the school must balance a fragile budget every year.
Your support is essential for :
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operation,
- Ensure the continuity of this unique pedagogical project,
- Give schools the means to build the future and value educational diversity.
By becoming a donor or sponsor, you are making a direct contribution to the life of a school that puts children at the center and offers a different way of learning.
