School and garden landscaping

For the 2025-2026 school year, the school will welcome 10 to 12 pupils every day. To provide them with the best possible learning conditions, we intend to continue the improvements initiated in 2024, notably by renovating the second classroom: insulation, lowering the ceiling and acquiring suitable furniture.
As part of our nature-based teaching approach, we would also like to make the most of the school's two gardens, by installing outdoor furniture, creating an educational vegetable garden and fitting out a shelter to enable year-round outdoor activities.

The Montessori en herbe private elementary school, managed by the Petites graines d'avenir association, opened in September 2024 with the aim of accommodating 12 to 15 pupils in a multi-age class.
It offers active teaching methods, notably combining the principles of Montessori pedagogy (autonomy, manipulation, respect for rhythm) with an approach through and with nature, encouraging sensory discovery, cooperation and a link to the environment. The aim is to support each child in his or her overall development, offering a caring, individualized and stimulating environment.
The school's ambition is to offer an educational environment in which each child becomes an active participant in his or her own learning, respected in his or her own rhythm and encouraged in his or her creativity, while at the same time being connected to nature.
